Jesus,
you say,
touch me and see.
I touched you today
when I saw the dogwoods in bloom.
I touched you
on the path by the river
in the greetings of the joggers.
I clung to you
in sorrow
grieving the loss of a friend.
I touched you
this morning at Mass
in the Eucharist.
I touch you
a hundred ways
every
day
